Thanks to everyone in Tucson for coming out to see me perform my show Allah Earth: The Cycle of Life at Exploded View for Tucson Fringe Theatre Festival. I got to meet fantastic people and I've made new friends, too. I also raised money from my performance for International Rescue Committee for their tireless work with refugees in Tucson.
I also got a chance to speak with deaf teenagers at Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind, sharing information with them about my works as a filmmaker, performer and playwright. It was a great talk and I feel fortunate to share some invaluable advice with them. I look forward to performing Allah Earth: The Cycle of Life again for new audiences in some other places in the coming months. Here are some photos below. I will perform at DEAFinitions Conference 2018 at Hampshire College in Amherst, MA on March 24-25, 2018. My show will be free and open to all. I am very excited to meet new people at the conference and I look forward to sharing my art with the audience.
More details about showtime and venue will be posted when I get information. I hope to see you there. I am coming to Tucson, Arizona to perform at Tucson Fringe Festival on January 12-14, 2018.
