I will perform one monologue and introduce two other monologues in Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues, all in American Sign Language. In fact, the entire show will be performed in American Sign Language. There will be voice actors as well. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to Deaf, Inc. to help Deaf victims of domestic violence and abuse.  WHEN:
April 19-21st, 2012 WHERE: Ivory Theatre 7620 Michigan Avenue St. Louis, MO 63111 WHY: To promote V-Day and raise awareness about violence against women and girls, misogyny, sexism, homophobia, racism, etc. and to raise money to help Deaf victims of domestic abuse and violence. WHO: I will perform onstage, along with about 9 other deaf women and as well as a few hearing women (all certified ASL interpretors). The shows are sponsored by Deaf, Inc.
