Here is a GREAT article for Alternet about me and the Taqwacores movement from a feminist perspective. Many thanks to Sara Yasin for interviewing me and for giving me exposure on a very wide national platform.
My friend, M. Oguntunde, a fashion designer based in New York City, interviewed me for his blog on New Year's Eve and we discussed our life goals as artists while we chatted online, and the conversation became more interesting later on. Check it out.

I was interviewed by Amir Telibechirowich, a journalist based in Sarajevo, for a weekly Bosnian magazine called Start BiH. The interview is published in PRINT, but the scanned PDF is available and can be viewed on Scribd. I am very honored and privileged to be featured in a widely read Bosnian publication.
