VISUAL WORKS

Sabina England is interested in visual aesthetics (color, shape, tint, typefont, and design) of computer art and digital images, especially with Graphic Interchange Format (.GIF) images. In her pursuit to experiment with .GIF, she created an experiment video, Self Portrait in .GIF for a gallery show in Oxford, UK. Sabina also likes to explore the art of 8-bit (inspired by retro videogame consoles such as Atari 2600, Commodore 64, Super Nintendo, etc.) and has created an experiment video, The Friendship Game, a 1980s arcade style videogame mock-up video about race, friendship and xenophobia.
